I got hearts tattooed on my ear lobes...

I haven't really decided that yet hahah
It certainly wasnt a spur of the moment idea, but my ears are a bit wonky from having big plugs in them, and somehow I was thinking the tattoo would cover it up haha and yet, I feel it only accentuates it now!
Oh well after 2 days, and most of the swelling gone down, I finally decided I like them. Good thing since theyre not going anywhere anytime soon haha |

things are looking up
my old job was draining all the life and soul out of me, i felt like i was part of some insanely corrupt company that treated their employees like crap..worse then crap even. I didnt want to be their boss, and I didnt want to be a person delivering bad news, telling someone they need to work harder and faster and stay for 16 hours.
It took a couple of months but I finally got another job, found out on friday and quit friday at the end of my shift.
Started today at my new job and got to do some wedding cakes right off the bat. Im the head pastry chef there and I get to do all the awesome stuff Ive been trying to find in a job.

I got a new job as a Production Manager for a baking company here in Portland. I am apparently now in charge of 70 bakers. I have no idea where even to begin. oh wait I do, with my salary and benefits and schduele I make for myself!

life & limb is my favorite new(er) hardcore band at the time.
amazing
its my birthday monday (the big 22) Justin and I are heading down to his grandpas beach house for the weekend tonight.
I like to drink Squirt again. I used to hate it because one of the 3 people in this world that I hate with everything in me loved it, so it always reminded me of that person. But now im over that and its refreshing and delicious. I dont drink soda that much, soda in general is really not all that. I like vitamin water...and naked juice. One day I hope to sponser lemonade vitamin water like kelly clarkson and her kiwi strawberry..or nelly and his god awful grape flavor..does anyone else think thats ironic and funny at the same time?
today I listened to a song my friend matt wrote about me a long time ago, it made me smile..but it also reminded me that I used to have dreds... and that my friends, does not make me smile

i hate hot weather, i hate sweating and having 10 pounds of hair on my head and having it be half way down my back, and i hate working in a kitchen with giagantor hot ovens.
but the heat has made me nostalgic and even though i dislike so many things about the summer it makes me miss nyc.
I miss the days that are SO uncomfortably hot you dont do anything but watch tv in front of your air conditioner and fans all going at the same time. I miss the disgusting smell of the subway in the middle of the summer when there are too many people in the tunnel waiting for the train. I miss getting onto an empty train and actually being cold because the ac is pumped so high, best feeling ever. I miss sitting on just about any bench in lower manhattan drinking vitamin water hating life becuase its just THAT hot.
isnt that ironic?

Hey! Its totally believable that there could be salt water in god damn taffy!! I meant salty and sweet are a good combination and maybe that's why taffy is such a beach candy because it is made with some kind of brine or essence of salt water.

this is the dress im pretty DEAD SET on for the wedding. I know its not a wedding dress, but a bridesmaid dress but whatever man i can do what i want!!

im engaged! this is one of the most fantastic days of my life. If you know me, than you know Justin and you know this was meant to be from day one. Man, im so siked to be wearing this ring. I took pics but it was all sorts of blurry so I copied the pic I found of it, off the internet.
Its amazing and beautiful and the ring I always wanted and dreamed of since the first day I laid my eyes on him.
He is going to be the most fantastic husband ever.

I dont write in this thing very much. I pretty much just use it to lurk people and make sure anthony isnt on the verge of killing himself on a daily basis. ;)
Anyways my life has been the best its ever been....EVER! I dont even know how to describe the happiness that Justin brings to my life not only as my best friend but now as my boyfriend and total soulmate. I love him so much and he makes the best roommate I could ever ask for.

also on another note:
I really despise this 'I love New York' show. She is WACKO, and her mom is 10x worse. DAMN VH1 for making such ridiculous shows that I cant stop watching.
Cartel is playing here feb 27th. I missed them when they came around with NFG because the tickets were $30 bucks and we were over paying that much. Brand new is in march too and that rules.
No hardcore shows because hardcore is dead. Yep.

Well Earth Crisis came and went. We spent more time traveling than we did actually IN baltimore and sleeping. Got home yesterday at 3pm after only getting 3 hours of sleep. And we ended up sleeping till 8am this morning.

Christmas '06 was a success. I didnt go home to CA to see the family but I had just as good of a time spending it with Justins family. His mom got me a ridiculous amount of amazing gifts, as well as his grandma, giving me stuff I dont even think my own grandparents give me. haah
I also opened up all the presents my parents mailed to me (ok I opened them up last week) I got my plane ticket to EXC in Jan, a new mp3 player HELLLLLOOOO zen GOOOOODDBBYYEEE shitty ipod and a lot of cake books and kitchen equipment I wanted. That amazon wishlist I have was the greatest idea of all time!

Tonight at the gym NOT only did I bike 6 miles in 18 minutes but I beat it, and did it in 17 minutes and 32 seconds. I didnt even fathom 18, and now I really think I can get it down to 17.
Going to the gym is making me feel so amazing. I can tell so much improvment already. My arms are starting to tone up a bit, I can run faster-longer, bike faster in shorter times, do more crunches...20 minutes on the stair machine doesnt even wind me. I havent felt this good inside in a long time.
